Korben Dallas does Heath Ledger Joker graffiti commission

Why so serious? Heath Ledger's legendary portrayal of Batman character, the Joker has quickly become an icon of pop culture since Director, Christopher Nolan brought it to the silver screen in 2008. I was asked to paint a mural of the Joker by a local kid who had seen my graffiti and liked my style. I was honoured to be asked of such a task. I had spaceships on my wall when I was a kid, who am I to deny today's generation the same privilege?

I am particularly proud of this painting. I used 8 different shades of paint including a rich red that I mixed myself.  It was also a great pleasure to paint on a flat wall, covered with newly hung wallpaper and a fresh coast of emulsion. It was the smoothest surface I have ever used, no mortar or brick texture to upset the path of the paint.
